Vetrivel is a devotional atlas of the Śaiva sacred landscape — the abodes of Śiva, Murugan, Amman and Gaṇapati, their sthala mahātmyam, saints and festivals, offered in Tamil and English.

The name honours the Vel — the victorious spear of Murugan, the light of wisdom that pierces ignorance. Our aim is simple: to help every devotee find their way to the feet of the Lord, and to connect willing hands with genuine seva.

Content is documented with care and reverence, summarising the traditional sthala purāṇam and drawing on published sources; we do not invent. Corrections and contributions are always welcome — write to seva@vetrivel.org.
